Hey there, I’m Rosalia.
Yoga Teacher | Founder | Retreat Host | Experience Creator | Advocate | Survivor
But most importantly… friend, sister, human.
A little more about me
I am a Filipina-American woman, based in Mexico City, and currently enjoying the chase of what brings my heart pleasure.
I am an international yoga instructor, with a passion for experiences that drive change, connection, and help develop a more whole society — one yoga practice at a time.
Somewhere between running away to Thailand to become a yoga teacher and becoming an executive of a hospitality start-up, I realized that I was called to a specific mission: to create wellness experiences that serve to heal while advocating for survivors of violence against women.

My Mission
Through all the ways we love, we learn ways not to love. And I’ve learned through personal experience, as a survivor of domestic violence, that love should never hurt.
My mission is simple: to bring wholeness and healing to the survivors of domestic violence.
I created Root to Rise in 2021 with a hope to create exactly that - to dismantle internalized mysoginy and inter-generational trauma to end the cycles of abuse we’ve learned to perceive as normal.
Through my work teaching yoga and creating safe spaces within my communities, and particularly in Mexico, I hope to bring awareness to the victims and survivors of all gender-based violence while creating accessibility to the wellness space.
